Cut Flowers

Sunflower City focuses on creating productive land through cut flower farming. Cut flowers are a way to bring revenue to Chicago communities, expand the scope of urban agriculture in the city and increase the versatility of products that can be offered to support emerging local agricultural markets. This work is being done to support all of the urban agriculture taking place in the city and to continue supporting the greater initiative of introducing younger generations to the world of farming, agriculture, horticulture and environmental stewardship.
